Eastern India Family Care Continuum Project

Extension of Andhra Pradesh Family Care Continuum Program (2008)

Funded by American Jewish World Service, New York and Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick

An extension of the Andhra Pradesh Family Care Continuum Program, this project currently focuses on training on HIV family care continuum issues for civil society agencies, including PLHIV networks, in Manipur, Nagaland, Orissa and West Bengal. A situational analysis and strategy development to ensure improved access to HIV care, support and treatment for children infected or affected by HIV has also been undertaken in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal (in keeping with the National AIDS Control Programme – Phase III policy).
