Rajasthan MSM and Hijra HIV Response Strategy Development

Situational Analysis and Strategies to Upscale an Evidence-Based HIV Response in Relation to MSM, Hijra and Other Transgender Populations in Rajasthan (2007)

This project provided technical assistance to Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society (RSACS), Jaipur for developing an HIV response strategy for MSM, Hijra and other male-to-female transgender populations in Rajasthan. The project included a situational analysis and a consultative process with civil society and government stakeholders, and was undertaken as a joint effort by Oxfam Trust and SAATHII on behalf of RSACS from the end of May until August, 2007. SAATHII’s Kolkata and Chennai offices worked together on this project.

This project received financial support from Oxfam Trust, New Delhi and the European Union.
