Thursday, February 24, 2005
6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Starr Auditorium, Kennedy School of Government
An estimated 5.1 million Indians are infected with HIV/AIDS, making India second in the world to South Africa in number of HIV cases. Stemming an epidemic of this magnitude requires collaborative work among all stakeholders involved, strong institutional capacities to carry out work, and political commitment at the highest levels both for prevention and treatment.
Please join us for a discussion on how multiple sectors are working together to fight AIDS in India .
